Did you know that Lotus can grow in southern Massachusetts? Our son's mentor in college invited us to see his beautiful gardens and landscaped propery after we helped our son give him a gift of a "bird condo", I call it. Made by a man on Route 6 on the way to Providence College. We finally stopped and bought two for our gardens.
He and his partner had a gorgeous Lotus garden as well as a Lilly pad garden. Their gardens were beautiful! I always wanted to go back because their Lotus flowers were HUGE, maybe 8" across! And gorgeous colors with pink, yellow and white all fused together. I need to add a section of some of my special photography work.
I painted two different views of these Lotus flowers standing 3 feet above ground and so beautiful! Plus an 8x8" that is in our baby's bedroom for our grandchildren right now.
