First, my painting "Enchanted" was selected for the associate's show for The American Artists Professional League. I was then invited to apply to be juried into the AAPL as an Elected Artist. You fill out a form including your website and email them 3 images.
I WAS ACCEPTED! I am so honored and happy to have been juried into this prestigious, talented realism group as an Elected Artist. If I have another piece selected for their big annual show... I will need to find a way to get my artwork to the Salmagundi Club in NYC, as that is where they hold their exhibits.
Thank you AAPL!
More painting to do!
Yours in art,
Linda
PS: One of the three images I sent was my diptych (2 - 24x30" linen canvases) which I will attach here.

BIG NEWS!

I found out today that my 24 x 30" oil painting named "Enchanted' was selected for the Artist Professional League's 2022 Associate Artist Members' Show. I am honored to be part of this historic art association's 2022 show!

This oil is painted from my reference photos of Elizabeth Park in West Hartford. I was not excited to see all the pink roses that day... but show me the pond with reflections.. and maybe a bridge.. and I had to paint this lovely scene. I am very proud and honored to be in their 2022 online exhibit. You can view it through their website at AAPLinc.org. See the "2022 Associate Artist Members' Show".

Keep trying everyone! It pays to work hard and be persistent!

Linda
